LEADERSHIP

Reginald has served as President & Executive Director since the inception of the organization in 2011 ensuring strong organizational leadership and development, collaborative partnerships, and financial oversight for all FLAZ programs. Reginald has committed his entire professional career educating students here in Arizona. Prior to FLAZ, Reginald served as a Special Education teacher in the Roosevelt School District encouraging, empowering, and equipping his students to achieve optimal success. Reginald serves as a Clinical Instructor teaching at the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College of Arizona State University. 

Reginald is very active in the community and has served on many boards and commissions.  Reginald currently sits on the City of Phoenix, Community Development Review Committee and the Commission on Housing and Neighborhoods. Reginald previously served as a Board of Director for Anytown Arizona.  Reginald has worked tirelessly to close the academic achievement gap as a Teach For America alum and was selected as a 2009 Community Luminary by the State of Black Arizona. Reginald received a Master of Education from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Cincinnati. He is currently pursuing a doctorate degree from Arizona State University.

Reginald is a former Fellow with the Center for Progressive Leadership and a current National Fellow with Leadership for Educational Equity.
